Pentimento aus Buffalo besitzen im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Bands aus dem Genre Hymnen und Texte die sich im Gedächtnis festsetzen und dort auch bleiben.Songs wie,
Unless" entwickeln sich zu einem eigenständigen Hit mit Hot Water Music Reibeisenstimme.Der darauffolgende Song,
Circles" könnte auch auf den letzten 2 Brand New Alben Platz finden und,
Almost Atlantic"besitzt ein Ozean-Flair.Abwechslung wird bei Pentimento sowieso großgeschrieben und so finden sich auch Balladen wie,
